Who We Are

Go Hard Dance is a community-based dance company designed to foster the desire for artistic expression through dance for children, teens and adults. It is a division of the Go Hard Boyz, LLC (GHB) brand whereby hands on community involvement is a must.  

The goal is to showcase the entrepreneurial spirit, fellowship and establish lasting bonds for our youth through the arts. We believe that we should always create our own opportunities! How? With an immediate plan of action to keep children from harm’s way by teaching these key principles:

  • Commitment to pursue dreams and study your craft to develop personal talent 
  • Unity and discipline 
  • Friendship and Kindness
  • Love and Support
We will show our young people that we care and that we will invest our time, our knowledge of dance and our love, by any means necessary to help them achieve success!

Go Hard Dance is also taught by mother-daughter team (Cheryl Thomas & Dakota Hill -age 17) who are both dancers – with Dakota having performed professionally since the age of 7. Both have been technically trained in various techniques of dance such as ballet, pointe, Hip-Hop, contemporary, modern, African and tap - keeping the family tradition and love of the arts going strong.

Lacey Thomas, Founder of LEGACY The Company (performing arts component of Go Hard Dance) is the Co-Artistic Director of Go Hard Dance.

She is our master choreographer with a unique and diverse technical training background specializing in various techniques such as ballet, pointe, Hip-Hop, contemporary, modern and tap dance.

We are privileged to work with some of the best dancers in NYC and will introduce various dance masters to the youth and adults in our customized dance programs as well as special workshops that encourages strength, confidence and poise.

We believe that the mission of the majority of our partners in the community is to encourage young people to “open the heart” and embrace new experiences which is one of our core beliefs. We believe that through the art of dance, this will “
open a path” of endless possibilities to make
dreams come true.
