SUMMER RENAISSANCE PROGRAM
As we celebrate the Harlem Renaissance, we at GO HARD DANCE would like to revisit the past and pay homage to African-Americans who asserted their identity intellectually and artistically during a moment in time where there was a “rebirth” of African-American culture in the arts.
We will share a variety of elements from the Harlem Renaissance bridging the gap between “old” and “new” in a creative way that will capture the hearts and minds of our young people. Our desire is to make our youth culturally refined with this unique Summer Renaissance Intensive Program.
This 4-week summer program is open to children ages 9-14. Students will enjoy a variety of classes and workshops (based around the arts) that toggle between historic facets of the Harlem Renaissance culture juxtaposed with elements of the arts in present day society.
Dance ▪ Art & Photography ▪ Fashion ▪ Music/Musical Theater ▪ Poetry
There will be special guests and exceptional day trips to iconic places in Harlem and Downtown NYC. Special classes/workshops offered will be: Swing Dance, Spoken Word, Musical Theater, Vocal & Stage Presence, Acting and Sip & Paint classes to new a few!

Summer Intensive
- Session Fee Options:
2 Week Session: $750
4 Week Session: $1500

Fees accommodate light breakfast, trips and special guest workshops.
